Chairman of Azerbaijan parliament's committee to visit France

"Chairman of the parliamentary committee on international and inter-parliamentary relations, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov and MP Aydin Abbasov will pay a visit to the French capital Paris to attend meetings of bureau and committees of the organization," the press service of the Parliament reported.

The PACE bureau will consider the question of forming a new special committee to implement the 1416 resolution on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. "The meeting of the standing committee will focus on the protection of national minorities in Europe, domestic violence against children, the results of presidential elections in Ukraine," said the report.

The PACE monitoring committee will cover the draft report on the implementation of commitments undertaken by Azerbaijan, the situation in Georgia, Armenia and Moldova, Montenegro's fulfillment of its commitments and other issues.
