Azerbaijani youth organizes bus tour on Khojaly tragedy en route from Riga to Tallinn - PHOTOS

Azerbaijan's Ireli public association organized bus tours dedicated to anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide in Riga, Latvian capital and Tallinn, capital of Estonia, the organization said in a statement.

Ireli Public Association has staged rallies in various European countries on 18th anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide.

The next action started as a bus tour in the Latvian capital Riga and  Estonian capital of Tallinn. The rally was organized by the public association’s Riga office.

The event was attended by representatives of youth of different nationalities, students in Riga: Latvians, Italians, Turks, Germans, Tajiks, and others.

Posters and stickers with facts and slogans about the Khojaly Genocide were posted on the bus which was involved in tour.

Bus en route from Riga to Tallinn stopped in different cities between the two capitals. Young people participating in the rally gave information about this tragedy to the residents.

Upon arrival in Tallinn, the participants were met by another group of young people, who also joined the rally. Later another event was held inside the city and youth staged a picket outside the Armenian National Society in Tallinn.

In the afternoon a short time action took place outside the Estonian Parliament. The rally continued until the evening on Feb. 27.

Ireli prepared a special T-shirts and posters for protesters. The books and pamphlets which were used during the march were provided by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
