Azerbaijan's Ireli public union to organize events on Khojaly Genocide in European cities

Azerbaijan's Ireli Public Union will organize various events and activities in different cities of Europe on occasion of the Khojaly Genocide.
Activities will be organized in the Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, Ukraine, Latvia, and Lithuania.

A variety of activities are scheduled in the Dutch city of Rotterdam.

Activities will begin with a demonstration outside the Rotterdam Municipality on Feb. 26. Later, there will be a procession to the city center attended by 200 people. The next step will an international conference on Khojali Genocide. The conference aims to inform the Dutch people of the facts of crimes against humanity by the Armenians.

Large-scale peaceful protests will also be conducted in London on Feb. 26. Some 200 youth in specially prepared clothes and tabloids with the slogans against the Armenian terrorism will be held from Trafalgar Square till the Houses of Parliament.

Peaceful protest which will sound different slogans will be held outside the British Parliament for two hours. Moreover, office of the  Ireli Public Union in London will hold a protest outside the Armenian Embassy. As a continuation of the action, participants will split into smaller groups and will hand out brochures about the Khojaly Genocide.

Several activities in the German cities of Leipzig and Kassel will be held on Feb. 26. Conferences will be  organized in the leading universities of the above cities in Germany. The conferences aim to educate the youth and intellectuals of Germany of the Khojaly Genocide and the Armenian terrorism against Azerbaijani people. Various brochures and booklets on these topics will be handed out during the conference.

On Feb. 26, the Azerbaijan youth will organize "bus tours" campaign in Latvia to demonstrate pictures of the Khojaly Genocide. These tours are expected to cover four cities of Latvia, as well as to continue in the Estonian capital Tallinn.

The youth will hold protest marches and seminars and other flash mob events in Lithuania.

During these events all participants will use various campaign materials, posters, brochures, and special clothing.

On its part, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has provided related books and pamphlets in different languages.
