Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry delegation holds talks with Turkey's top defense officials in Ankara

Azerbaijani delegation headed by the Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Chingiz Mammadov is on a visit in Turkey, press office of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry said.
Azerbaijani-Turkish high-level defense dialogue was held in Ankara as part of the official visit.

The three-day meeting will focus on the prospects of cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Turkish military forces.

The latest high-level defense dialogue was held in December, 2008 in Baku.

The Turkish delegation of generals and admirals was headed by the second Chief of Staff, Army General Hasan Igsiz.

The defense officials discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the military forces in all fields, personnel training, wide range of issues about the cooperation in the fields of military medicine, military sciences, military law and defense industry.
