Newly appointed Azerbaijani ambassador hands credentials to Iranian president

Newly appointed Azerbaijani ambassador Javanshir Akhundov has presented his credentials to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The Iranian leader expressed confidence bilateral relations between the two countries would further develop.

Akhundov vowed he would spare no efforts to contribute to “strengthening brotherhood, friendship and good neighborhood relations” between Azerbaijan and Iran.
