Azerbaijan's Supreme Court chief meets new Dutch ambassador

Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Ramiz Rzayev met with newly appointed ambassador of Netherlands Jan Lucas to discuss judicial system of Azerbaijan, structure and activity of the Supreme Court on Dec. 14.

Rzayev noted the decisions made in Azerbaijan are being brought in line with European standards.

He pointed out there are real opportunities for developing judicial relations between the two countries. Rzayev expressed satisfaction with the level of Azerbaijan-Netherlands friendly and cooperative relations.

Ambassador was curious about judicial reforms in Azerbaijan. He said he would spare no efforts to expand cooperation in the legal field.
