Azerbaijani parliamentarian: OSCE Minsk Group activities are inefficient

"I believe the Madrid principles satisfy neither Azerbaijan nor Armenia. Activities of the OSCE Minsk Group is inefficient and does not lead to any result," Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Umid party, member of parliament Igbal Agazade said.

He said the reason is that the Madrid principles do not envisage territorial integrity.

“The Azerbaijani side will never agree with these principles. I believe the efforts made to adopt them are inadequate. There must be another new system at a different level with other thoughts,” Agazade said.

He said possibility to settle the conflict peacefully have not yet exhausted.

‘It is hard to predict when the Karabakh conflict will be resolved. This may happen either today or later,” the MP said.
