“We are also looking forward to the moment when the White House will announce the nominee for the post of the U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan."
"The White House is reviewing the nominees and we are expecting the process to end,” Public Relations Officer of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan Terry Davidson told reporters.
He urged not to pay attention to the various speculations on this issue.
“You should not think that if the ambassador has not yet been appointed, it means something. The U.S. has not yet appointed ambassadors in several countries,” he said.
Davidson said though the U.S. ambassador had not been appointed, his country continues cooperation with Azerbaijani government in several spheres.
