Azerbaijani parliament to debate bill on national flag

Chairman of the committee Hadi Rajabli informed about the draft law. He said the draft law contained proposal to declare November 9 as National Flag Day in Azerbaijan and to set it non-working day.

Rajabli said the flag is one of the national attributes and therefore the draft law had significant importance.

After the discussions, the draft law was recommended to the plenary session of the parliament.
