Iranian vice president visits Nakhchivan

Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hamid Bagayi has made a trip to Nakhchivan.
The visit aimed to determine prospects of relations between the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan and Iran in fields of economy, culture and tourism.

Bagayi met with Chairman of the Supreme Majlis (parliament) of Nakhchivan Vasif Talibov.

Iran’s Consul General in Nakhchivan Seyyid Mohammad Tabatabayi and Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Tabriz Aykhan Suleymanov also attended the meeting.

The sides discussed economic, transport, cultural, tourism relations between Iran and Nakhchivan.

During his two-day visit, the vice president visited Heydar Aliyev Museum, Nakhchivan State Museum of History, the Museum of Archeology and Ethnography, scientific library, Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater, Diagnostic Medical and Physiotherapy Center.
