Relations between Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan have acquired a new essence: Turkmen president

“Azerbaijani and Turkmen people share friendly and fraternal relations since the ancient times and have joint history and culture, similar traditions. Our historic relations were tested by the time and have entered a new stage of development. Azerbaijani Culture Days in Turkmenistan testifies to this," Berdimuhammedov said.

"This event will contribute to prosperity of culture of the two peoples in the period of great renascence. This event shows that multilateral cooperation and cultural relations between our countries have great future. Good neighborhood relations between the two friendly countries have acquired a new essence," the president said.

"The president said bilateral documents signed in recent years is an example of multilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. I am sure that friendly and fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan will be extended and deepened further”.
