Solemn ceremony on anniversary of Turkish Republic held in Baku

Senior state and government officials, parliamentarians, press representatives, representatives of diplomatic corpses accredited in Azerbaijan as well as the Turkish parliamentary delegation attended the event.

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic spoke about the history of Turkish Republic.

Delivering a speech on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan, Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov conveyed congratulations on the 86th anniversary of Turkish Republic and noted that fraternal relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan were further developing.

Head of the Socio-Political Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov, First Vice-Speaker of Milli Majlis Ziyafet Asgarov, Defense Minister Safar Abiyev and other high-ranking officials attended the event.
