Turkey hopes to achieve mutual understanding with Azerbaijan on several energy projects, Turkish foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu said in Baku.
"I hope that this issue will be solved," Davutoglu told reporters.

"Turkey highly appreciates its and Azerbaijan's participation in BSEC. We appreciate Azerbaijan as a strategically important country in the area ranging from the Caspian Sea to the Black Sea," Davutoglu said.

He said that BSEC is an important organization given rapprochement of its participants' economies.
