Parents of the Armenia-captured Azerbaijani soldiers – Anar Hajiyev and Rafig Hasanov – are concerned that they have not received any letter from the sons for three months.

Hajiyev’s mother Naila Mammadova said she asked the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and they promised to bring a letter from her son within 24 hours.
Hasanov’s father Rahman Hasanov said ICRC representatives in Barda tell him every time that they didn’t know anything about his son.
ICRC representatives conducted last monitoring of captured soldiers’ conditions and met with them on July 23.
Rafig Hasanov, 20, was captured by Armenian forces on the line of contact in Gazakh region of Azerbaijan on Oct. 8, 2008.
Anar Hajiyev, 19, was drafted from Goranboy region. He was captured by Armenian forces on May 10, 2009 on the line of contact in Fuzuli region of Azerbaijan.
