Azerbaijani ambassador to Mexico meets with speaker of Chamber of Deputies of Mexico

The meeting discussed bilateral relations, expansion of inter-parliamentary ties, including prospects of cooperation between the two countries in political, economic and energy spheres.

Ambassador Mukhtarov through maps in detail informed Javier Ramirez about the occupation of Azerbaijan’s lands by Armenia and current situation in the occupied territories.

The Azerbaijani diplomat also spoke about the economic development of Azerbaijan and the energy sector.

Noting successful development of relations between the two countries, the ambassador emphasized importance of expanding relations in all fields, including inter-parliamentary ties.

On his part, Ramirez reiterated the importance of enhancing inter-parliamentary ties between Azerbaijan and Mexico emphasizing the perspective of cooperation in the energy sector, and expressed special interest to visit Azerbaijan with a parliamentary delegation.

Ambassador Mukhtarov congratulated the Ramirez on his taking a new office and invited him to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan.
