President offers condolences to Indonesian leader

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolence to Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono over the loss of live caused by a powerful earthquake which struck the island of Sumatra.
The letter reads: “The news of a human loss as the result of the quake was a source of great sorrow to me. On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I offer sincere condolences to you, families and relatives of the dead and all the people of Indonesia and wish recovery to the injured.

May Allah rest their souls in peace.”
