Iranian, Azerbaijani border guards to have joint meeting

A meeting of border guards of Iran and Azerbaijan will be held soon.
Chief of the Iranian Border Service Gasim Rezai said the border guards of Iran and Azerbaijan will have a joint meeting, Fars news agency reported.

The exact date and place are still to be defined.  

The aim of the meeting is to develop bilateral relations and to coordinate the border services of both countries, Rezai said.

Iran borders with 15 countries. The country develops relations with neighbors to provide security of its borders, Rezai added.
