02 October 2009 [10:09] - TODAY.AZ
“The process of settlement of the Karabakh conflict within the OSCE Minsk Group should proceed without preconditions,” OSCE Minsk Group U.S. Co-Chair Robert Bradtke said in an interview with the Armenian Public Television.
“The so-called Minsk process of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement is an independent, must move forward in accordance with its own logic without any preconditions or linkages, and within a reasonable time, without the imposed acceleration or deceleration,” an official statement issued on Oct. 1 by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs Yuri Merzlyakov of Russia, Bernard Fassier of France and Robert Bradke of the U.S. said.

"The statement by the co-chairs expresses a long-term approach of the U.S. government. The Minsk process should proceed without preconditions,” Bradtke said.

He noted that he met in New York with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan.

"Secretary of State noted with satisfaction the role and efforts of the minister in the settlement process,” the co-chair said.
