The autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will not discuss any issues related to Azerbaijan.
"No issue related to Azerbaijan will be included in PACE's autumn session agenda. The issue of Azerbaijan's commitments will be discussed only at the EU Monitoring Committee meeting, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE and PACE Vice-President Samad Seyidov said.
The autumn session of the PACE will be held in late September.
Azerbaijan has taken some commitments while entering CE in 2001. The Monitoring Committee of the Council of Europe observes the implementation of these obligations.
Seyidov said the main reason why the issue on Azerbaijan will not be submitted for discussion at the autumn session is that the reports of the co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee are not ready.
