Iranian parliament launches discussions on candidates to new Cabinet

The Iranian Parliament will held discussions on 10 candidates nominated by the Iranian President on the second day of deliberation on the new staff of the Cabinet of Ministers, Iranian Mehr news agency reported.
Today [Aug. 31] 196 members of the parliament will discuss the nominations for the posts of ministers of education, communications, security, economy, foreign affairs, trade, health, agriculture and cooperatives.

Recently, the Iranian parliament launched discussing the new staff of the government. The supreme legislative body of the country should consider the list of nominees proposed by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad last week.

Ahmadinejad publicized the program of the new government during the yesterday's [Aug.30] parliamentary meeting.

The Iranian parliamentarians are expected to make a decision on Sep.1.
