The European Union chaired by Sweden has issued a statement on the Moscow meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents.
The statement says EU welcomes the meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev in Moscow on 17 July and encourages both parties to continue and intensify their efforts towards a settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The Presidency commends tireless efforts of the Minsk Group Co-Chairmen, consisting of France, Russia and the United States and extends to them its full support.
