Azerbaijan`s President receives U.S. Deputy Secretary of State

The sides noted relations between Azerbaijan and the United States were successfully developing in various fields including political, economic and energy ones.

They expressed hope that bilateral relations would continue to boost.

The sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues.

James Steinberg conveyed greetings of U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to President Ilham Aliyev.

The Azerbaijani Leader asked him to pass on his greetings to the Secretary of State.

Afterwards, the talks continued with the participation of the delegation which included Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon, as well.
