The U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, James Steinberg, will discuss proposals of Azerbaijani-U.S cooperation in Baku.
Steinberg will hold talks with the Azerbaijani leadership to discuss urgent issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international issues, during a short-term visit to Baku on July 10-11, attaché of the U.S embassy to Azerbaijan, Dmitry Tarahovsky said.
Steinberg held a top position in President Clinton's administration. He was deputy national security advisor to the President.
