Ruling party representative receives US adviser on political issues in Azerbaijan

On June 26 Ali Ahmedov, executive secretary and deputy chairman of the party received US adviser on political issues in Azerbaijan Juana Genson, according to the press service for the party.
The statement says Ali Ahmedov noted that the relations between Azerbaijan and the United States reached a high level.

US adviser on political issues confirmed Ahmedov's words. Later she got interested in the changes to the draft law "On NGOs", presented to the Azerbaijani parliament for discussion.

Ahmedov said amendments to the draft law were initiated by the parliamentary committee on state construction. He said amendments and alterations do not envision restricting activity of NGOs and are aimed to systematize their activity.
