Iranian embassy to Azerbaijan not invited by US Department of State

The Iranian embassy to Azerbaijan has not yet received invitation to take part in celebration of the US Independence Day, according to the press service for the embassy.
"We have not yet received any invitation in connection with this event", said the press service.

"After we receive the information, we will consider this issue", said the source.

Notably, earlier it was reported that Barack Obama's administration empowered the US embassies abroad to invite Iranian diplomats to mark the Day of US independence marked on July 4.
