The Liberal-Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (LDPA) held a session under the leadership of Chairman LDPA Fuad Aliyev, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service of the party.
The report notes that the meeting focused on the socio-political situation and the organizational issues.

The meeting heard the report of the Vice-Chairman LDPA Rasim Alizade. The report states that the conferences of organizations were held in Nizami and Sabunchu districts.

The conferences conmsidered the organizational issues and elected chairmen of district organizations - Elshad Rustamov for Sabunchu and Sabir Rustamov for Nizami district.

LDPA also proposes to raise the price of gas exported to Turkey and Georgia. This issue was discussed in the economy commission of LDPA. The experts of the party pointed out that, since the start exploitation of the gas pipe to the present day Turkey and Georgia have got Azerbaijani gas at the lowest price (120 U.S. dollars per 1000 cubic meters), although Turkey is buying natural gas from Russia and Iran for 400-500 U.S. dollars.

LDPA believes that official Baku should reconsider the price of gas exported to Turkey and Georgia.
