Azerbaijani servicemen participate in international events in the framework of bilateral agreements

Azerbaijani servicemen are taking part in the framework of cooperation with NATO, Turkey, the United States and Great Britain, reports Interfax-Azerbaijan with reference to the press service for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

In the framework of the program of partnership for peace with NATO representatives of Azerbaijani armed forces will be attending the course of military English in Budapest from January 5 until March 27.

In the framework of bilateral cooperation with Turkey Azerbaijani servicemen will be taking part in the course on defense from mass weapon in Istanbul from January 5 until January 6.

Moreover, Azerbaijani servicemen under the plan of cooperation with Lithuania will be attending staff courses for land forces in Tartu from January 7 until May 20 and the command staff courses for junior officers of these types of forces from January 12 until June 12 of 2009.

In the framework of the bilateral plan of cooperation with the United States Azerbaijani servicemen will be attending courses of officers of medical service in San Antonia from January 14 until November 4 and the meeting on prevention of biological threats in Washington on January 12-16.
