Azerbaijan launches works on restoration of the Movement of National Resistance

He said the decision was taken at the recent session of the Supreme Medjlis of the party.

"The aim of the restoration of the movement is to unite the public organizations, NGOs, parties, political structures and famous people around the settlement of the national problems.

The main task, facing the movement is the settlement of the Karabakh problem. Naturally, most people treat this idea negatively, but unity must be reflected in actions", said he.

It should be reminded that the National Resistance Movement was created by initiative of former president of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Elchibey in 1997. The movement included parties, public organizations, intellectuals. The movement set a task to protect Nagorno Karabakh from external threats and attain democratic changes in the country.
