Georgian former Premier: "Russian air force jets rocketed the Baku-Supsa and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipelines in August"

"We have stated this in open but we did not want to create a scandal, taking into account the interests of our partners, engaged in transit of oil pumping via Georgia", said Vladimir Gurgenidze.

According to Gurgenidze, BP and other partners did not say that Russia rocketed the pipelines for business interests.

"I think these companies dislocate their stocks on the leading stock exchanges on the world and the scandal around the rocketing could have reduced prices on stocks of these companies", said he.

"Our interests did not envision such developments and though we have informed about rocketing, on the background of the silence of these companies, our announcements were not heard", announced he.
