Matthew Bryza: “It was a surprise that the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia are ready to holding serious talks on the Karabakh issue”

Matthey Bryza, deputy assistant US Secretary of State And OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, considers launching of talks on the Karabakh issue by the Presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia to be a “surprise”.

He made this statement in the interview to Imedi TV company.

According to Bryza, the fact that the three leaders are ready for the open consideration of the conflict should be welcomed.

“It was a surprise that the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia are ready to holding serious talks on the Karabakh issue and this is really good”, says Bryza.
