Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry: "Announcement of France, as a EU chairing country, causes disappointment and bewilderment"

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan that the due announcement is fixed in a statement, released by the country's FM regarding the announcement of the EU chairmanship about results of the presidential elections in Azerbaijan, released by the French embassy to Azerbaijan on October 21.

The statement says that the essence of the electoral process as well as the opinion of international observers, including EU representatives, have been distorted and existing realities replaced with a biased position.

"We consider that such a biased approach does not reflect the will of the Azerbaijani people, contradicts to the nature of relations established between Azerbaijan and EU and will not promote strengthening of trust", says the report of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
