Musavat party urges to stop pressure on imprisoned reporter Mirza Sakit

Musavat party voices anxiety about the actions applied against imprisoned reporter of Azadlyg opposition newspaper Mirza Sakit, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service for the party.
Reports say that such provocations against the satirist should be stopped.

"The party demands to punish those who humiliate the Azadlyg newspaper correspondent as the authorities bear responsibility for Mirza Sakit's life", says the statement.

Mirza Sakit, held in correctional facility No 14, was reportedly beaten by jail keepers.
