Sergey Lavrov: "I am not familiar with the announcements of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry about support of the territorial integrity of Georgia"

At the same time, Lavrov noted that Azerbaijan is an important, strategic partner for Russia and these relations are subject to conjuncture. He said Baku supports the same position regarding Moscow.

The Minister noted that he would not want to sacrifice the relations with Azerbaijan for any conjuncture announcements.

It should be noted that spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim said that the territorial integrity of Georgia can not be violated.

"Azerbaijan recognizes the territorial integrity of Georgia and supports it. The territorial integrity of Georgia can not be violated", announced he.
