Armenian Foreign Minister: "Yerevan is for the resolution of the Karabakh problem in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group, which has already proved effective"

Armenia is for the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, said spokesman for Armenian Foreign ministry Tigran Balayan, commenting on the announcement of Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan according which official Tehran has launched talks with Baku and Yerevan about mediation in the resolution of the Karabakh issueю

"As Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan said last week, Yerevan is for the resolution of the Karabakh problem in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group, which has proved effective", said Balayan.

It should be reminded that earlier Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nasir Hamili Zade said that Iran has already launched talks with Baku and Yerevan on the mediation in the resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

"Tehran strives for the resolution of the Karabakh conflict in the framework of international law. Iran is for the peaceful resolution of the conflict", said the Iranian diplomat.
