President of Azerbaijan makes telephone call to his Russian counterpart

The Azerbaijani leader extended birthday greetings to his Russian counterpart and wished him strong health and successes in his presidential activity.

Dmitry Medvedev thanked Azerbaijan`s President for his attention.
President Ilham Aliyev also offered his sympathies and condolences over a plane crash in Russia that claimed dozens of lives.

During the phone talk, Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Dmitry Medvedev also discussed a range of bilateral issues.
