Turkish Foreign minister: "Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey continues as a strategic partnership"

Day.Az reports with reference to Turkish Cihan news agency that a joint press conference was held after the meeting.

Babajan noted that cooperation between the two countries continues in a form of a strategic partnership. He said the meeting participants discussed the initiative on creation of the Caucasus Alliance.

"The meetings on specification of details in the framework of this initiative will continue", said Babajan.

Mamedyarov voiced confidence with the visit to Turkey. He said the bilateral ties are further developing.

It should be noted that Mamedyarov was also received by Turkish Prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The meeting lasted for about an hour.
