29 August 2008 [09:10] - TODAY.AZ
"The current agenda does not include the issue of holding mass actions of protests in the center of Baku", said head of the central office of the Musavat party Arif Hajili.
He noted that the party suspended conduction of the protest actions.

"Our efforts are currently directed to creation of a coalition. After it is created, we will start talks with opposition regarding conduction of a protest conjointly.

The Musavat party has excluded holding of mass protests from the agenda", said he.

As for Musavat party's adherence to the tactics of active boycott of presidential elections, it has previously voiced, Hajili said:

"Several parties, we are negotiating with, have chosen the tactics of a passive boycott. Therefore, it is currently the main reason of delay in the talks between the political structures. However, we are loyal to our positions", concluded Hajili.
