Politican scientist Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan called on Armenia to freeze negotiation process with Azerbaijan

"Armenia should freeze the negotiation process on the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict unless an agreement on non-application of force is signed between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh, said Armenian political scientist Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan

He announced that in this agreement, the sides should take the responsibility to search ways of the conflict resolution without application of force and by way of negotiations.

According to the Armenian political scientist, today Azerbaijan, like Georgia, "allocates colossal means for army consolidation and purchases new types of weapon, using its oil dollars for the only purpose of settling the Karabakh problem by force".

He noted that bitter experience shows that a gun in the hands of a country, which allocates a part of its budget for army and has problems with neighbors, will finally shoot. And after we get assured that this gun will not shoot, it will be possible to hold a normal, serious and civilian dialogue and search common approaches on the Karabakh problem", considers Melik-Shahnazaryan.
