Etibar Mamedov: "We do not intend to participate in presidential elections of Azerbaijan"

"I do not intend to participate in the presidential elections of Azerbaijan", said Mamedov.

In turn, spokesman for steering issues Nazim Aleskerov noted that the party has two ways of joining elections.

"Particularly, the party may support any candidacy at the elections or give our votes to any of the candidates. The form will be ratified in period of election campaign", noted he.

As for whether the party may select boycott tactics, Aleskerov said the following:

"The party currently does not intend to boycott presidential elections".

It should be reminded that Etibar Mamedov took part in presidential elections of 2003. At that time, he gained 2.92% votes.
