The Appellate Court has granted the appeal of the Azerbaijan National Independence Party against the Baku mayor's office, said spokesman for steering issues Nazim Aleskerov.
He said the court annulled the decision of the Sabail district court and demanded to review the case.
"We were planning to bring the case to the European Court of Human Rights, but Azerbaijani authorities seem to treat the case seriously. We do hope that our claim will be granted", noted he.
It should be noted that the political structure has appealed to court as the law "On freedom of assembly" and "On freedom of speech" is not observed in the country.
