Asim Mollazade thanks Lluis Maria de Puig for PACE support

Chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party Asim Mollazade thanked PACE president Lluis Maria de Puig for adoption of documents regarding the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.

He also thanked Puig for support by PACE to democratic development in Azerbaijan. The sides discussed commitments, undertaken by Azerbaijan before the CE, as well as the election situation, situation in the sphere of democracy and human rights. The sides also exchanged views on the situation around Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Puig reminded that Armenia's occupational position has been recognized by PACE in the due adopted resolution. He stressed the need to withdraw Armenian armed forces from the Azerbaijani territories and to settle the conflict in the framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
