PACE: "Democratic reforms in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova can not be consolidated without restoration of their territorial integrity"

The resolution on report "Functioning of democratic institutions in Europe and conduction of monitoring" reads that national parliaments may play a certain role in strengthening trust as a preliminary condition of peaceful resolution of conflicts.

The resolution states that democratic reforms can not be fixed in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova can not be fixed without restoration of their territorial integrity.

PACE also voiced readiness to assist to creation of position negotiation climate through a dialogue on the parliamentary level, reports ITAR-TASS.

At the same time, PACE voiced regret about the failure to attain any significant progress related to these conflicts through the past year and about the increased tensions in the Abkhaz and South Ossetian conflicts.
