"Several months ago the Day.Az website informed that Azerbaijan's occupied lands may become a destination point of PKK militants, which will be obliged to leave regions of Iraq bordering on Turkey following an operation carried out by the Armed Forces of Turkey.
Unfortunately, such information has drawn much attention in Azerbaijan, though it is too important. As wee see, even the most pessimistic forecasts of the development of events with PKK terrorists' movement are coming true and are being confirmed by the Israeli intelligence services.
Such a development of events is unfavorable, as Kurdish terrorists may provoke tensions and even initiation of hostilities between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
At the same time, this may not be wished by the Armenian or Azerbaijani sides.
Therefore, I am confident that our Ministry of Defense should carry out due work on strengthening divisions, locating on the front line", famous military expert Uzeir Jafarov said commenting on APA's information that the PKK leadership decided to turn occupied regions of Azerbaijani -Fizuli and Lachin- into the center of Kurdish terrorists.
He said Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry must inform the world community about the threat of PKK terrorists on the occupied lands of Azerbaijan.
"Moreover, Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry must insist on conduction of a regular monitoring on the occupied lands of Azerbaijan to check presence of PKK terrorists there by the OSCE. In this sense it would be expedient to point out that Anjey Kaspshik, personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office, has already voiced concerns about the established situation and there is a necessity to hold secret monitoring on the occupied lands of our country.
It seems to me that both Azerbaijani and Armenian commanders of divisions, locating along the front line will work hard presenting objective and real information about the actions of Kurdish terrorists on the occupied lands of our country, which may lead to initiation of hostilities between Azerbaijan and Armenia", Jafarov said.
