Ilham Aliyev receives credentials of newly appointed Switzerland Ambassador to Azerbaijan

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received credentials of newly appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Switzerland in Azerbaijan Alain Guidetti, as reported by the press service for the President.

Guidetti noted that the commencement of operation of Swiss Embassy in Azerbaijan will create more favorable conditions for development of bilateral relations and will promote further expansion of cooperation.

The President, in turn, stressed the successful development of Azerbaijan-Switzerland relations and noted that the ties between the two countries are passing to a new stage of development and expansion.

"Opening of the embassy in Baku will play an important role in this sense", I.Aliyev noted.
