Event on 10th anniversary of GUAM held in Bucharest by Azerbaijani Embassy to Romania

According to the information, the event was organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan to this country, Romanian International Research Institute and European Institute for the Management of Risk, Security and Communication (EURISC).

The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions of the GUAM states, Austria, Belgium, Poland, Japan,  European Commission, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Russia and Czechia, as well as the representatives of the parliament, Foreign Ministry and other state structures of Romania.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Romania Eldar Gasanov, delivering speech on behalf of the country, charing GUAM, spoke on the history of creation, development, achievements and prospects of the organization.

Moreover, the speeches, delivered during the event, covered Romania's support of GUAM, frozen conflicts on the territories of the GUAM states, regional cooperation and others.
