Caspian status talks started in Ashgabat

The next stage of talks on the legal status of the Caspian Sea has started in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's press secretary Khazar Ibrahim told that Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov is a negotiator from Azerbaijani side.

The meeting with the participation of the representatives of all the five littoral states is to discuss disagreed clauses of the Convention on Caspian legal status, APA reports.
