Azerbaijani Emergencies Minister ends visit in Bulgaria

Emergency Ministry's Public Relations Department told that the meeting of Kamalladin Heydarov and Emel Etem covered discusson on establishing and development of relations between the corresponding bodies of two states and cooperation prospects.

Bulgarian Civil Defense Forces and fire protection service chiefs also participated in the meeting. A declaration on "Cooperation in protection of people against disasters and accidents" was signed between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria within the visit.

The declaration stressed the borderless nature of disasters and cooperation between the two countries for effective and timely prevention of emergency situations. uring the visit Kamalladdin Heydarov was demonstrated technical facilities of all kinds. Azerbaijan Emergencies Minister also met Bulgaria PM Sergei Stanishev.

The meeting covered issues on strengthening the infrastructure of Emergencies Ministry and deliver of Bulgarian technical facilities to Azerbaijan.

The meeting also stressed the necessity of bilateral economical relations and opportunities for bilateral cooperation in the energy field, APA reports.
