18 April 2007 [10:02] - TODAY.AZ
"Critical points in the debates on Azerbaijan in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) do not mean that PACE is aggressive towards Azerbaijan," Ali Ahmadov, deputy chief and executive secretary of YAP (New Azerbaijan Party) told journalists.

Ahmadov said that not only Azerbaijan, all member countries undergo critics in the sessions, APA reports.

"Sessions aim at discussing different problems in different member countries. Azerbaijan and Council of Europe have productive cooperation. Problems concerning the development of democracy in Azerbaijan are solved basing on this cooperation," he said.

Ali Ahmadov said that great steps have been taken for implementation of Azerbaijan's commitments and the majority of them have been implemented.
