European Parliament to decide on debate of 'frozen conflicts' in South Caucasus

European Parliament will make a decision on holding a debate on the 'frozen conflicts' in the South Caucasus, Cem Ozdemir, member of European Parliament and German Parliament said.

The decision will be made by coordinators of different parliamentary groups in Foreign Affairs Committee, and the date of debate will be fixed.

Only the South Ossetia problem was to be debated in the European Parliament. But after insistence of Cem Ozdemir and Anjelina Bea, the Nagorno Karabakh and Abkhazia conflicts were included into the agenda. APA
