Nazim Ibrahimov meets with Israeli acting president

Nazim Ibrahimov, chairman of the State Committee for Azerbaijanis Living Abroad met with Israeli Knesset speaker and acting President Dalia Itzik.

The meeting covered discussions on useful cooperation between the two countries, APA's Israel bureau reports.

Dalia Itzik said her country is interested in Azerbaijani gas and oil recourses. Israel's annual oil demand comes to 12 million tones and 2 million tones of which are met by the account of Azerbaijan each year.

Then Nazim Ibrahimov met Deputy Prime Minister, the leader of Our Home-Israel Party's leader Avigdor Libermann. The sides discussed the current situation both in the Middle East and South Caucasus, also security and stability issues.

Azerbaijani committee chief visited Yad Vashem memorial complex in memory of the Holocaust victims.
